NEW: Vaccinated Travel Lane – Singapore South Korea Travel Bubble
From 15th November 2021, fully vaccinated travellers to and from Singapore can travel without having to undergo quarantine under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) initiative. Among the VTL conditions, travellers must have been vaccinated for at least two weeks, travel on a designated VTL flight, have remained in South Korea or Singapore for 14 consecutive days, and take two Covid-19 PCR tests (within 48 hours of departing for Singapore and on arrival in Singapore).
Note that travellers from Singapore tapping the VTL arrangement have to have been vaccinated in Singapore and are required to test negative for COVID-19 (PCR) prior to leaving for South Korea (within 72 hours of departure), on arrival at Incheon Airport (pre-booked) and on day 6 or 7 for stays longer than 8 days. Travel insurance with a minimum coverage of 30 million won (approx. S$34,000) for COVID-19 related medical treatment and hospitalisation is required; a Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) is also mandatory (except for APEC card holders).
Unvaccinated children aged 5 years and below are permitted to travel to South Korea under the VTL accompanied by a vaccinated adult; those aged 6 years and above may enter Korea but are subjected a 10-day quarantine.
