NEW: Vaccinated Travel Lane – Singapore Switzerland Travel Bubble
From 8th November 2021, fully vaccinated travellers to and from Singapore can travel without having to undergo quarantine under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) initiative. Among the VTL conditions, travellers must have been vaccinated for at least two weeks, travel on a designated VTL flight to enter Singapore, have remained in a VTL destination or Singapore for 14 consecutive days, and submit to a testing regimen. Unvaccinated children aged 12 years and below (based on calendar year) are permitted to travel accompanied by an adult who meets all the requirements under the VTL.
Inbound passengers to Singapore must take two COVID-19 tests (within 48 hours of departing for Singapore and on-arrival PCR in Singapore) and conduct daily self-administered antigen rapid tests (ART) for 7 days after arrival. The day 3 and day 7 tests have to be conducted under supervision at a Combined Test Centre (CTC) or a Quick Test Centre (QTC).
Switzerland requires all travellers to complete an entry form not more than 48 hours before entering the country. In light of the emerging Omicron variant, as a precautionary measure travellers aged 16 years and above have to present a negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test conducted within 72 hours of flight boarding and report the results of a PCR or ART test taken 4 to 7 days after entry to the relevant canton.

For further information, please refer to the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority’s VTL guide and the entering Switzerland webpage of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).
