NEW: Vaccinated Travel Lane – Singapore UK Travel Bubble
From 19th October 2021, fully vaccinated travellers to and from Singapore can travel without having to undergo quarantine under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) initiative. Among the VTL conditions, travellers must have been vaccinated for at least two weeks, travel on a designated VTL flight to enter Singapore, have remained in a VTL destination or Singapore for 14 consecutive days, and submit to a testing regimen (see elaboration below). Unvaccinated children aged 12 years and below (based on calendar year) are permitted to travel accompanied by an adult who meets all the requirements under the VTL.
Inbound passengers to Singapore must take two COVID-19 tests (within 48 hours of departing for Singapore and on arrival PCR in Singapore) and conduct daily self-administered antigen rapid test (ART) for 7 days after arrival. The day 3 and day 7 tests have to be conducted under supervision at a Combined Test Centre (CTC) or a Quick Test Centre (QTC).
Note that all travellers aged 12 years and above must test negative for a lateral flow or PCR COVID-19 test taken within 2 days before travel to England. Travellers also have to book and pay for a COVID-19 PCR test to be taken within 2 days of arrival in England. The booking reference number needs to be indicated in the passenger locator form completed within 48 hours of arrival in the country. Children aged under 5 years are exempt from all testing; those aged 5 to 11 years do not have to take the COVID-19 test before travelling to England but will have to take the post-arrival day 2 test. The rules differ slightly for Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland; please refer to the UK Gov link below or contact us for more info.
